Two more music acts added

Great news! The Superbowl Saturday Chili Cook-off has two new acts added to the entertainment line-up. Trenton Chandler and Michael Rushing will also be playing during the day for the Chili Cook-off.

Currently 5 teams have expressed interest in the competition and more people/teams are inquiring about the rules. Many are confused when they are told this is a no rules Chili Cook-off. We are hoping this will become a tradition in Leakey for Superbowl Saturday.

If you can cook it, you will eat it, we will judge it!

For more information, contact Joyce at 830-232-4555.

Gary Ritchey to perform at Chili Cook-off

Gary Ritchey, www.myspace.com/garyrmusic, will be performing at the Superbowl Saturday Chili Cook-off. Gary performs all over Texas, and has quite a following where ever he plays. His music is Texan, rock, blues, original, and he puts some interesting spins on covers. Come out and enjoy.

There is no gate fee to come out and enjoy the music and the competition. Teams are forming from Leakey and around the state, so plan to join us. And remember, this is a no rules cook-off, so if you will eat it, you can enter it. There will be prizes for the top three entries for People's Choice, Judges' Decision, and booth decorating.

Any questions, just call Joyce at 830-232-4555.

So what kind of chili?

Any kind of chili!

Because we are NOT sanctioned by any organization (except ourselves) you can submit any kind of chili you want...the possibilities are endless.

Vegetarian, beans, venison, pork, chicken, beef, canned...if you can make it and will eat it, you can enter the competition. Yes, we will even accept your roadkill chili, but we want to see you eat it first!

And don't forget we are having a booth decorating contest too!
